S.C. Electromecanica Ploiesti S. A. plant is a public limited company, part of the National Company "ROMARM", whose domain of activities includes military missiles production. S. C. Electromecanica Ploiesti S. A. has as main area of activities the production of some complex equipment's for military and civil destination. It's purpose, as well, is to obtain a maximal production capacity by a high professional level of the human means. S.C. Electromecanica Ploiesti S. A. supported some transformations, so it's objects of activity have been changed in time. Now it's main domains of activity are A. Military :

- Research activity in missiles technical domains;

- Antiaircraft self-guided and short-range missiles;

- Unguided reactive missiles air-to-ground;

- Services for security assurance for shooting with ground-to-air missiles in reduced polygon;
