Short description of research / business interests:

Research interests in the areas of mechanical vibrations, active control of flexible structures and developing models for flexible structures with bonded piezoelectric sensors and actuators. Reseach has been conducted on automatic flight controls and inertial navigation systems, and a new of singularity avoidance and transition steering logic is developed for single gimbal control moment gyroscope clusters. An additional area of interest is the multidisciplinary and muliobjective design optimization. In this area a novel multiobjective simulated annealing algorithm is developed.
